Cav SRI
Not had this car long but done alot recently mainly general tidying up or improving
Car started life as a 2l 8v sri hatchback back in 1995, about 5 years ago it was converted to 2l 16v c20xe lump
I've known car for about 8 years and always wanted it
Am gonna do car up slowly over next year, start with general tidy up, then clean and service of all parts, then onto hunt for more power
Spec of car
Cav SRI 16v C20XE

NON- STANDARD EXHAUST SYSTEM
LOWERED 40 MIL ON GMAX SPRINGS AND SHOCKS
EBC BRAKES ALL ROUND
AND SOME ENGINE WORK
REST IS PRETTY MUCH STANDARD SRI SPEC

Looked like this when i got it
first things i did was make car all legal, so tax, insurance and new tyre was first
Then i went ebay mad and order some new bits
As much as i loved noise car made i needed music so trip to afl and halfords soon fixed that
(new aerial)
Next i got cut up and went to beep, nothign happened, after hunting for horns, i found they where shot
So new twin air horns where fitted and also relocated them to engine bay where it dryer, as there normally located infront of passenger wheel
whilst there i cleaned air filter and air flow meter up and fitted cold air feed
next was gettign everything working,
firstly new puddle lights arrived
then i spent half day wiring up sun visors (wasn't hard job, just struggled feeding wires in)
new gaiters
New air wipers all round
Went for retro fit aero wipers as find they are one of best types of wiper blade out atm
(rear one)
some reading material
Finally car all clean at weekend (already needs good wash again and polish)
